Macaw Experience
Our interactive Macaw Experience is perfect for birthdays, private parties, and celebrations. Guests can safely interact, take photos, and enjoy a memorable hands-on experience with our beautiful macaw.
The macaw is always accompanied by a trained handler to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both the animal and guests at all times.
Animal welfare is our highest priority, and we reserve the right to adjust or end an appearance if any signs of stress or discomfort are observed.
Dove Release Experience
Create a beautiful and memorable moment at your wedding, funeral, celebration, or special event with an EXOTICZ release experience.
We provide white homing pigeons, along with a decorative release cage and table setup. Our table and cage can also be custom decorated to match your event, and handling assistance is available throughout the experience.
But why use Homing Pigeons not doves?
At EXOTICZ, we strive to be as ethical and transparent with our customers as possible. Although commonly called “dove releases,” our birds are actually white homing pigeons. We use homing pigeons because they are hardy, domesticated birds that can be carefully trained to return home from significant distances.
White doves are not suitable for outdoor release in Calgary because of the local climate and other environmental considerations. Unlike homing pigeons, they are not bred specifically for long-distance return flight.
Our priority is creating a beautiful experience while putting the safety and well-being of our birds first.
